Natural Stripe Long Sleeve
We used a combination of 100% Organic Colorina and Pima Cotton sourced from Bergman Rivera, a family-owned and GOTS-certified company based in Lima, Peru for this t-shirt. Colorina cotton is thought to have originated in the Andes some 5000 years ago. There are very few commercial mills still growing and producing this yarn. It’s a special material and creates an incredibly special garment. Because of the natural color, no dyes or bleaching is needed to achieve the rich brown color.

About MaysonFeel good in your clothes. Feel good about your clothes.
Mayson is committed to the lasting quality of our products, the treatment of all stakeholders in our supply chain, and the environmental impact our products have. We continue to evolve and evaluate our partnership and business practices as we learn more about the impacts the apparel industry has on the environment and the people making our clothes. We’re doing the legwork so that you feel comfortable putting your money towards positive change. A simple concept, really, but one that is surprisingly hard to find.
Organic Pima Cotton
Our commitment is to the sustainability of the apparel industry. If we’re going to be putting new products into the world, we don’t want them to stick around for too long once we’re done with them. Natural materials means a bio-degradable product that goes back to the earth without sitting around in landfills or oceans for hundreds or even thousands of years like their synthetic counterparts.
Our cotton is hand picked in the mountainous regions of Peru. Peruvian Pima Cotton is considered the finest in the world. It is truly the gold standard for long strand cotton.
NATURALLY COLORED COTTON
Naturally colored cotton, also called color grown cotton, is naturally brown/tan/green. It’s indigenous to the Andes, where we source our GOTS certified organic, handpicked color grown cotton. It’s needs no dyes for a beautiful heathered look, making it visually pleasing, extremely soft, and incredibly eco-friendly.
